Whilst I was staying with my oldest best friends, we took a little trip to The Waffle House in St.Albans where we always used to go when we were babies. I didn't particularly recognise it but it was such a lovely place tucked away by Verulanium park. We could choose between savoury or sweet waffles, and despite banoffee being one of my favourite things ever, I decided to try the bruschetta instead. As we expected, all of our waffles were delicious, even though I was a little miffed I hadn't gone with my gut and had the banoffee like my sister .. just look how good it was!

Afterwards we took our bursting bellies for a wander around the park, for old times sake. Memories came flooding back of when we used to run around as toddlers and push our dollies in our own little buggies. Even though the weather was a little on the chilly side which meant for dull photos, it was a lovely little afternoon, and a place of my childhood I'll never forget.
