Little Loves: Seaside Restaurants

 photo IMGP8527_zpsba6954e2.jpg

Some of you will know I got back from a week in Crete on Tuesday, and surprisingly am tanned the most I've ever been (can i get a woop woop?). We had a lovely little week with beach visits, coastal wanderings and pool activities. For us, it was a much more relaxed holiday than usual, but was very much needed, for all of us I expect.

We ate out a few times, and each time at a restaurant/taverna that was so close to the sea, one evening I genuinely had salty sea water dripping down my arm from the waves. As well as it providing a welcome sea breeze, as I'm sure you can imagine they would always boast spectacular views. This posed a little added atmosphere and interest to your meal; because deciphering which fish species of fried 'seafood' your about to eat isn't always enough.

Unfortunately I doubt these would be a permanent fixture in Britain as I can imagine whole restaurants blowing away in the winter.. not ideal. But all the same, if you do know of any hot spots like these, not necessarily with miscellaneous seafood platters on the menu, then please let me know, I'd love to pay a little visit.

  1. Looks so pretty! I love Greece - never been to Crete (heard it's lovely though!) but went to Corfu with my bestie about 6 years ago and had the best time. Also came back with a brilliant tan, so Greece must be the place to be if you want good sun-kissed skin! :) xx

  4. Woohoo for the tan! I'm feeling that way at the moment too, but sadly a month after I got home from Thailand, it's all starting to fade now... I LOVE eating by the sea though- there's something just so amazing about it. xx
