I really wasn't sure what I wanted for my birthday this year (apart from the obvious; make-up, toiletries, a kitten etc) so was toying with the idea of a new camera, or lens, until I decided on a Polaroid Camera. I scouted around on eBay and Amazon for a while to see what I liked. I knew I didn't want an Instax mini or whatever they're called because I don't like the credit card size pictures you get from them. However, this little guy popped up and happened to be pretty much perfect. It's a Polaroid One, I think (my parent's actually bought it for me so I'm not 100% sure) it was around the £40/50 mark and takes 8 square polaroids at a time.
Despite a pack of film being painfully expensive - we're talking £15 for 8 here guys - I really love the point, shoot, and collect mechanism of capturing moments and experiences I want to savour. I've gone through three packs this summer and have a little snap of every notable occasion to stick on my wall.
