Easy Dinners: Meatballs

1 x pack of mince
1 x pack of (8) sausages
1 x pepper
1 x onion
1 x clove of garlic
1 x egg
Bread crumbs (approx 3 slices)
Seasoning (herbs, pepper, salt etc)

So when I went to stay with friends in York last weekend we had homemade meatballs for dinner which I was told were easy to make. I found out the basic ingredients needed, and then bashed them all into a recipe :)

First you need to dice the onion, pepper and garlic and fry them off so that the onion is see throughish. Then leave them to cool so you can add them in later. Now you can do the really fun part of taking the skins off the sausages and mushing up the mince meat.

Put all the meat in a bowl and mush it together with your hands (sounds disgusting but was actually quite fun), and then add a quarter of the bread crumbs and the egg. Mush this all together too before you add the pepper, onion, and garlic.

When this is all mixed up you can start rolling the mixture into meatball shape balls. Put some oil in a frying pan and dust the balls with bread crumbs. Add the balls into the frying pan and cook until dark brown (or in my case burnt) on the outside. And voila, you have a yummy meal :)
